Invitation to participate in the Tender:

 

Kurdistan Organization for Human Rights Watch is pleased to announce a call for Tender  (CFT) for the project " Development and Urban Enhancement of the Central Alley and Visitor Routes at Erbil Citadel, Iraq,” financed by the European Union’s MADAD-EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian crisis.

 

Instructions to participate in bid:

         

Scope of Work

Granite Cobblestones Installation:

  • Light and dark grey granite cobblestones, each measuring 10x10x8 cm, with 6 faces machine-cut and 1 face flame surface will be utilized.
  • A sand bed, 6-10 cm in depth, will be prepared on the sub-base layer. The 10x10x8 cm granite cube stones will be laid on the sand layer with the desired slope and within the specified joint range.
  • The cube stones will be compacted, and joints will be filled with sand and filler material. The surface will be swept clean of debris.
  • All work will be carried out by skilled Turkish laborers, and heavy equipment will be provided by UNESCO.

 

Granite Tile Stone and Step Installation:

  • Dark and light grey granite tile stones, measuring 30x30x5 cm with a flame surface, and granite steps will be installed.
  • Granite steps will consist of light and dark grey granite pieces, 3 cm thick, forming treads of 30 cm width and risers of 18 cm height. Tread stones will have rounded edges and a flamed finish.
  • A cement mortar bed, 6-8 cm thick, will be prepared on the subgrade surface. Granite tiles will be laid on the mortar at the desired slope and within the specified joint range.
  • Joints will be filled with sieved sand and cement, and the surface will be swept clean of debris.
  • All work will be carried out by skilled Turkish laborers, and heavy equipment will be provided by UNESCO.

The applicant is required to:

1- Submit offers in US dollars.

 2- Submit the tender via the email above.

 3- The applicant must submit a signed and stamped bid.

 4- Applicants must sign and stamp code of conduct attached to the tender papers

 5- Attachments:

- Certificate of company establishment (licensed by the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government).

-  Previous Experiences / Company profile.

 - Valid ID of the company's director.
